The Weavers and their seven children are working each day to turn this farm and home into a nostalgic haven of rest for the world-weary travelers and for those who long for a more simple life. While there is WiFi connection in the home, the Weaver family encourages visitors to hike, bike, and enjoy nature. There are herds of deer, friendly small animals, as well as many kinds of birds, and maybe a rare glimpse of a coyote. With prior permission, visitors may enjoy most of the privacy of the farm’s 85 acres, including a creek and gorge. The farm boasts a spacious front yard that borders Route 14, and the only remaining working railroad in the region. Trains pass slowly once a day, creating a nostalgic twist to days gone by. Enjoy a show of the morning sunrise or an afternoon picnic, complete with gorgeous lake views, from the spacious side porch.
