Fall in Farm Country

Apple picking, pumpkin patches, corn mazes and scenic fall foliage drives are bountiful in Finger Lakes Farm Country. There is no better place to experience the true essence of fall than in Farm Country. You are sure to make some great memories while picking ripe apples from the tree or the best pumpkin from the patch and our farms offer some of the best.

Finding the perfect pumpkin at the pumpkin patch is essential to the Fall experience. Places like Iron Kettle Farm and Smithome Farms make it easy and fun for the whole family. After searching through their pumpkins to find yours hop on a hayride or find your way through the corn maze. You can also visit one of our many Farm Markets and select from a vast selection of pumpkins, gourds, apples and more fresh from our local farms.

Apple picking, much like visiting the pumpkin patch, is a fun and festive way to celebrate the Fall season. Grab a wagon and head out into the orchards at Apples and Moore formerly Reisinger’s Apple Country where they are growing over 20 varieties of apples for visitors to pick August-November. After gathering up your bounty of apples visit their store for homemade Apple Cider Donuts, apple cider, jams and jellies made from Reisinger’s fruits, and products from local farmers. Wager’s Cider Mill invites guests to their mill for fresh apple cider and grape juice, and apple cider donuts which are made daily and served fresh. Find your favorite apples to take home with their 21 varieties all grown right on their farm.
